This year’s entry in the WWE video game franchise, WWE 2K20, is a collusion of sorts between the old and the new. In the end, the game looks to have a familiar look and feel as the series has had for years. But there’s also a lot of new here, too, as it focuses lot on the emerging female performers in the company and will even see new developer take over the reins after two decades of Yuke’s. That trend continues as it will see the return of an old feature along with some new reworks on MyPlayer.
On the returning side, we will see the return of online lobbies. The feature was a pretty standard feature for years, but for whatever reason was not in last year’s entry.
On the new side, MyPlayer has been tweaked a bit. Anything you unlock as you move through the various MyPlayer modes will be usable in Create-a-Superstar. In addition, there will also be daily refreshed challenges to test your skills.
WWE 2K20 will release October 22nd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. You can read the full details for all the changes listed above through here.
