Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake 2 has achieved a new sales milestone over a year since it launched. As revealed during the company’s annual Capital Markets Day, the survival horror title has sold over 1.8 million copies, up from 1.3 million sales in February 2024.
Last August, Remedy revealed that it had recouped over 80 percent of its development and marketing budget for Alan Wake 2. This was before the launch of the physical Deluxe Edition and The Lake House expansion in October. The Collector’s Edition is also still slated for December.
Alan Wake 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out our review here, though several updates have been released in the interim. The Anniversary Update added Game Assist mode with options like infinite ammo, quick turning, invulnerability and more. Support for Sony’s PS5 Pro also became available on November 7th, adding ray-traced reflections in Quality Mode. Head here for more details.
