Before Alan Wake 2 launched, Remedy Entertainment had already confirmed that it would be releasing two expansions in 2024 in the form of Night Springs and The Lake House. True to recent reports, the former of those has been officially unveiled.
Alan Wake 2: Night Springs sees players playing through three separate, standalone story chapters, each starring a different protagonist in quirky, what-if scenarios. Players will play as Alan Wake fangirl and Oh Deer Diner waitress Rose; the sheriff of Bright Falls, Tim Breaker; and even Jesse Faden, the protagonist of Control. What’s more, the expansion is due out tomorrow, June 8.
On top of that, Remedy Entertainment has also announced that Alan Wake 2, which launched last year as digital-only game, is finally getting a physical release. This fall, the game will get a physical deluxe edition as well as a physical collector’s edition, details on which should be arriving in the coming months.
Alan Wake 2 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
