Developer Innersloth has revealed some interesting plans for its extremely popular social deduction game Among Us during this year’s Summer Game Fest. There seems to be a lot to look forward to in the near future, with a brand new Hide and Seek mode announcement being the standout highlight.
The next big update will bump up the max player limit from 10 to 15, alongside a bunch of quality of life improvements and cosmetics. Further down the line, Innersloth has plans of releasing a highly secretive new map, as well as in-game achievements among other things. There are still no updates about the console releases for Among Us, but it’s fair to expect them to come in the near future.
Among Us has absolutely skyrocketed in popularity, quickly climbing the Twitch and Steam charts, and this roadmap seems to be direct response to keeping player engagement levels constantly high. The Summer Game Fest has also been an absolute treat for fans, with a surprise Elden Ring reveal trailer serving as a delightful grand finale. More announcements and updates are set to roll in over the course of the coming week, so stay tuned for those.
