Anthem Hotfix Addresses Loot, Uncommon/Common Loot At Level 30 Fix Still in Works

The cost of crafting Masterwork items has gone down overall.

BioWare’s Anthem received two hotfixes last night, but it’s the second that’s arguably more important for players. It fixes a lot of the problems with the game’s loot like the Inscriptions, which will now provide bonuses to the item in question or to your Javelin in general. Sadly, the change isn’t retroactive. You’ll need to obtain new items to see the changes in effect.

BioWare has also reduced the number of resources required for crafting Masterworks. You now need 15 Masterwork Embers instead of 25, and the overall number of other parts required has also been reduced. One fix that isn’t currently live is Common (White) and Uncommon (Green) loot no longer dropping at level 30.

Over on Reddit, community manager Darokaz stated that more time was required to fine-tune this change. “We haven’t removed green and white loot yet, it needs more testing. We decided to go ahead and release the other changes instead of delaying.”

Anthem has been out since February 22nd for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It received a massive day one patch and several hotfixes since then, but still suffers from a number of fundamental issues. BioWare is still committed to supporting the game though, and has an entire season of content, “Echoes of Reality” slated for release in the coming months.
