BioWare’s fall from grace has been a long time coming, but it is currently encapsulated by Anthem, and its failure to follow through on BioWare’s pedigree, EA’s promises, or its own potential. The immediate critical and commercial failure of Anthem has caused many to worry about the future of BioWare—especially given that EA is ruthless with closing down underperforming studios.
However, responding to a fan who expressed this same concern on Twitter, Michael Gamble, producer at BioWare, shot down any worries about BioWare’s future, or Anthem’s long or short term success. He also added that BioWare is “getting great support”, though it’s unclear if he was referencing support from EA, support from the fans, or both when he said that.
As for Anthem—well, it has flaws, but it is possible for BioWare to actually address them, assuming they get the time and resources they need from EA. Hopefully they do, and it becomes the game it should have been all along.
Don’t worry about us. We got lots of work to do, but you aren’t the only one who likes anthem.

Lots of folks are playing Anthem, and we’ve announced our live service plans. Don’t worry about that, we are getting great support.
