BioWare’s Anthem is out and not very good. The gameplay has some fun parts and the graphics are pretty. However, there are so many fundamental flaws and shortcomings that it’s amazing the game launched in this state.

Not Enough Cosmetics

When BioWare touted different armor pieces and how they were stat-independent, we were excited about the cosmetic possibilities. Now it’s post-launch and we’re wondering why there are so few cosmetic armor pieces in the game. You get the Legion of Dawn armour by pre-ordering, a few head/arm/torso/leg components that can be switched out and that’s it. Vinyl variety is also pretty lackluster. But hey, at least the colour customization is neat.
