Anthem’s Armour Pieces Won’t Be Tied To Stats, Legion of Dawn Edition Trailer Revealed

New armour pieces in the game will, as it turns out, be purely cosmetic.

We’ve heard plenty about the extensive cosmetic customization tools that are going to be made available to players in Anthem, but it also seems like BioWare is taking the extra step to separate that from actual progression in the game relating to your stats.

Recently, in yet another livestream (which you can view below) that was held for the game, lead producer Ben Irving confirmed that all armour pieces in the game would be purely cosmetic and wouldn’t be tied to stats. Which means stat progression is separate, and you can deck out your exosuit with whatever cool looking armour pieces you want without worrying about how it will affect your stats.

EA have also revealed a Legion of Dawn edition for Anthem, and what exactly it will include, through a new trailer. A Legion of Dawn armour pack and weapons will come with the game itself for all those who purchase this edition. Take a look at the trailer below.

Anthem launches on February 22, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Recently, new gameplay footage for the game’s single player hub location, Fort Tarsis, was shown off, while a new story-focussed trailer was also revealed. Be sure to take a look at both through the links.
