BioWare recently held a livestream for their upcoming shared world shooter Anthem, as they had promised they would do, and the 20 minutes or so of the gameplay footage that they stream on Twitch (you can view it through here) revealed plenty of new information about the game that is sure to excite a lot of fans.

The focus, as promised, was on Fort Tarsis, the central hub area of the game where players can interact with NPCs, pick up quests, and advance their personal character’s story through single player-esque choice and consequence mechanics. The video talks about a number of interesting things about the hub, from its law enforcement to its markets, while some interesting bits of lore are also discussed briefly. Exploratory footage of Fort Tarsis is also shown off, and it’s looking quite interesting. Take a look through the link above.

This isn’t the first livestream BioWare have recently done for Anthem. Through earlier livestreams, BioWare also gave out plenty of new details on the Javelins, and on how personalization of those Javelins will work in the game. Be sure to check out both of them.

Anthem launches on February 22, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It’ll be in pre-alpha next weekend, so if you want to test it, make sure to register before the spots run out. Meanwhile, the game will also be receiving a new trailer at The Game Awards in a few days.
