Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon Planned to Release in September/October – Rumor

FromSoftware reportedly wants its upcoming mech combat title to release before Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.

FromSoftware’s Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon made waves when it was announced at The Game Awards 2022. The mech combat game isn’t Soulsborne game, though it will “pose stiff challenge,” and it’s not open-world like Elden Ring. It’s releasing this year, and we still haven’t seen much by way of gameplay footage.

Fans apparently won’t have to wait long to get their hands on it. Sources speaking to Exputer’s eXtas1s (who correctly leaked the upcoming Baten Kaitos 1 and 2 HD Remaster) revealed that Armored Core 6 would launch between September and October. There are reportedly “more chances” for it to launch in late September unless there’s an internal delay.

Interestingly, it seems FromSoftware wants to release it before Elden Ring’s recently announced Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Of course, this doesn’t mean the latter will release this year, so we’ll need to wait for more details.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.
