Though we only saw the male version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla protagonist Eivor in its CG reveal trailer, Ubisoft have confirmed that players will be able to choose the gender of their protagonist. The actors who will be portraying both roles have also now been officially confirmed.
Over on Twitter, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has revealed that the male version of Eivor will be played by Magnus Bruun, while Cecilie Stenspil will play the female Eivor. Fittingly enough, Bruun already has quite a lot of experience playing a Viking raider, playing the character Cnut in the TV show The Last Kingdom, which is set in the same time period as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Though we haven’t yet seen any gameplay footage for the upcoming open world RPG, Ubisoft have confirmed that they will be premiering the same during May 7’s Inside Xbox event.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be out this Holiday for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Stadia. To get up to speed on everything that Ubisoft have revealed about the game so far, head on over here.
