Critics’ reviews for Obsidian Entertainment’s long-awaited Avowed are live alongside a new launch trailer. While the action RPG isn’t available until next week, Premium Edition owners can start playing now courtesy of advanced access.
Of course, you must spend $89.99 for the same, though it includes a digital art book, the original soundtrack, and two premium skin packs for your companions. Regarding the critical reception, Avowed has an 80 Metacritic score on Xbox Series X/S based on 58 reviews, while the PC version has 79 Metascore from 49 reviews.
Avowed launches on February 18th for both platforms. It will also be available on Game Pass (and, strangely enough, through Blizzard Entertainment’s Battle.net). Head here for more details on its Quality, Performance and Balance modes on consoles.
