As Avowed’s launch draws closer, finer details on the RPG continue to emerge. Game director Carrie Patel confirmed recently that on Xbox Series X, the RPG will be able to run at “up to” 60 FPS. Now, in another interview, she has offered further information on that front.

Speaking with Last Stand Media, Patel revealed that Avowed will feature both Performance and Quality modes, prioritizing higher frame rates or higher resolutions respectively. She also revealed that a Balanced Mode will be included as “sort of in-between Quality and Performance” for those with 120Hz screens.

Patel didn’t provide specific details on the targets for each mode, nor did she confirm whether all three will be available on Xbox Series S as well. That said, leaker extas1s has claimed on Twitter that on Xbox Series X, Avowed’s graphics modes will target 60 FPS, 40 FPS, and 30 FPS, while only the latter two will be available on Xbox Series S.

Avowed is due out on February 18 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Reviews will begin going live on February 13.
