Baldur’s Gate 3 Has Been Completed by Over 1.3 Million Players

Larian Studios' acclaimed role-playing game has seen impressive completion numbers since exiting early access in August.

The massive Patch 5 is now available for Baldur’s Gate 3, bringing new playable Epilogue with over 3700 new dialogues and cinematics. It also adds modes like Honour and Custom, performance improvements and much more also available. Larian Studios also announced that over 1.3 million players have completed the acclaimed RPG since its launch.

Though sales figures haven’t been revealed, CEO Swen Vincke confirmed that it sold over 2.5 million copies in early access. It’s the second biggest launch on Steam this year and resulted in revenues for Wizards of the Coast’s digital and license gaming rising by 133 percent year-over-year.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for PS5 and PC, with a December launch planned for the Xbox Series X/S version. The release date will be announced at The Game Awards. Thanks to optimization on the Xbox version, performance improvements are available for all three platforms with Patch 5. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
