Larian Studios has said on numerous occasions that Baldur’s Gate 3 will be releasing for Xbox Series X/S before the year is over, but with November now halfway done, when can we expect to hear more details about said release? Well, you won’t have to wait too long.
In a post recently published on X, Larian Studios confirmed that Baldur’s Gate 3 will be releasing for Xbox Series X/S sometime in December. An exact release date hasn’t been announced, though the developer says that information will be shared at The Game Awards next month (where Baldur’s Gate 3 is also the most nominated game – alongside Alan Wake 2 – with eight nominations across several categories).
A recent leak did claim that the acclaimed RPG would be releasing for Xbox on December 6, but given that The Game Awards are scheduled for December 7, that’s obviously not going to happen. Could we perhaps be in for a shadow drop, then? Either way, we don’t have to wait too long to find out.
