Baldur’s Gate 3 Might Add Nvidia DLSS Support

An update to the game's Steam Database page might suggest that it could be gearing up to add support for DLSS in the future.

With the likes of DOOM Eternal, Red Dead Redemption 2, No Man’s Skyand more adding support for Nvidia’s DLSS on PC, it’s clear that the gates are opening up for games adding DLSS support, and it seems like Larian Studios’ RPG Baldur’s Gate might be gearing up for the same as well.

Over on the game’s SteamDB page, it seems a couple of branches were added to the game’s files meant for testing for DLSS. While Larian themselves haven’t made any official announcements regarding DLSS support, it wouldn’t be surprising to get confirmation of this in the near future. Of course, until such time an announcement is made, it’s best to keep your hopes in check.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is currently in early access on PC and Stadia, and it’s unlikely to get its full launch in the near future- at least until some time in 2022. Larian has said that it still has lot of work left to do on the game, which will even include changes being made to the content that’s in the game’s early access build.
