Battlefield 2042 Devs Focusing on Core Feedback, Working on Providing More Transparency

Through a series of tweets, Ripple Effect Studios' senior design director Justin Wiebe confirmed that the team is focused on fixing the core issues of the game, while also working on better communication with the community.

Battlefield 2042 has been worked on day and night to recover the game from its disappointing launch, which players and even some ex-developers have not been very fond of. While DICE did announce that players can expect new patch for the game sometime in March of this year, which also adds the revamped scorecard, players have been very vocal in letting the teams from both DICE and Ripple Effect Studios know that the communication from them is just not enough. One of the developers is aware of this and also commented about it.

On Twitter, the Senior Design Director of Battlefield Portal at Ripple Effect Studios, Justin Wiebe, mentioned that the dev team is working on ensuring better clarity and transparency in regards to the issues the teams are tackling, and even though he is not allowed to say much, he is looking forward to sharing more specifics very soon.

Additionally, through another tweet, Wiebe said that even though the team cannot comment on future content for the game mode, he did confirm that they are working on the issues which are at the very core of the feedback they received.

These are needed updates considering the lack of communication the community receives from the development teams. As the current state of the game is concerned, season one has been pushed back to early summer. All this is not stopping EA from losing trust in the game, as they still believe that it will do great in long run.
