Much has been said about Battlefield 4’s multplayer, including the Siege of Shanghai map, Commander Mode (which allows players to serve as an overwatch support for teams via the tablet) and next gen features. New gameplay footage has been released – 40 minutes in length – that shows all these elements in action. Check it out above.
Battlefield 4 will see a host of improvements for the core multiplayer experience, besides having 64 players at once. You’ll see real-time weather effects, the Levolution system that allows for more realistic real-time destruction, customization of one’s HUD (for PC though), and much more. That’s not including the new vehicles and upgrade system for the same, abilities, classes, weapons, and more.
Battlefield 4 will be launching with the PlayStation 4 on November 15th but it will also be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 29th. The Xbox One version is expected to release by Q4 2013. Stay tuned for more details.
