When Mirror’s Edge was revealed at this year’s E3 presser for EA, there were many concerns that the message at the end – which revealed that the game would be released when it was ready – meant another Duke Nukem Forever-style delay. However, a new Easter’s egg for Mirror’s Edge was discovered by VG247 in Battlefield 4, which released in North America today, that gives plenty of hope that DICE is very much working on the game.
The video showcases a TV screen in the second campaign mission, set within Singapore Hotel, with the words “Do you like to run?” and other combinations featuring heights and the colour red. If you look at it from a different angle, the word “Faith” appears. Subtle but still pretty cool.
Battlefield 4 will be releasing on November 1st for current gen consoles in Europe, with a next gen release on PS4 and Xbox One due later in the month. Stay tuned for more details.
