Battlefield 4 September Update to Improve Core Gameplay, Soldier Movement

Different game modes have also been improved.

DICE’s Battlefield 4 continues to receive updates, which are all the more vital thanks to Battlefield: Hardline being delayed to early 2015, and the developer has outlined some of the changes that the September update will bring.

DICE is using the Community Test Environment in order to garner feedback and improve the experience. After two months of running the program, some of the updates to the game will include improvements to the Rush, Obliteration, Obliteration Competitive, Capture the Flag and Carrier Assault modes. Visual recoil is also being improved and you’ll notice that close and medium range reticules no longer move with the gun. Bullet spread and drop are still active though.

Another big change will be in the soldier movement which will match that of Battlefield 3 and help you get away from firefights better (without visuals being compromised). You can check out the full update notes here but stay tuned when the update arrives since there will undoubtedly be other fixes.
