Visceral Games’ Battlefield: Hardline has received its first major patch with update 1.02. It’s available on all platforms and brings some much needed fixes.
Fans of Team Deathmatch can now relax about respawning – the new patch will now respawn you closer to allies and further away from foes. Other issues that have been fixed include crashes related to specific Nvidia cards and optimizing the engine for better graphical performance while Punkbuster is running. The number of tickets for Conquest Small and Conquest Large have also been adjusted with 600 tickets for the former and 999 for the latter.
Various balance changes have been made to weapons. The K10 has a reduced starting damage of 33 and end damage of 8. Vertical recoil has also been reduced on the Saiga, PTR 91, HCAR, and HK51 while the fire rate of the RO993 has been increased to 850. Battle Rifle ammo has seen increased minimum damage to 25 while AKM bullet minimum damage has been decreased to 24.
