Visceral Games working on various fixes for crashes and other issues.

Visceral Games’ Battlefield Hardline will be receiving its first major patch in the coming days. A forum post has outlined the various fixes to be included but Visceral has listed the “top five priority” issues according to community feedback.

These include fixes for Punkbuster to reduce heavy CPU usage for players; the development of new drivers with Nvidia to fix various crashes; extending the time for Conquest matches by effectively increasing the maximum number of tickets in both Large and Small modes; weapon balance tweaks; and adjusted spawn points and better spawning for Team Deathmatch.

Lead multiplayer designer Thaddeus Sasser also stated that there would be a Rent-A-Server program for all consoles, letting players customize multiplayer matches on top of inviting other players. Stay tuned for more information on the list of fixes along with a release date for the patch.
