Out of nowhere, ArtPlay’s Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and Flying Wild’s Shadow Warrior 2 are now available for Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft had announced that these titles (along with several others) would hit the subscription service this month and they’re now available. Not bad, especially considering that Game Pass players also got The Coalition’s Gears 5 just last week.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is helmed by Koji Igarashi, formerly series producer on Castlevania. The title is spiritual successor in this sense, offering side-scrolling action and exploration with numerous bosses and a bevy of weapon. Then there’s Shadow Warrior 2, a fun first person shooter with action RPG elements and its own share of wacky weapons.
Other titles slated to arrive for Xbox Game Pass this month include Jump Force, the crossover fighter with Shonen Jump legends; DiRT Rally 2.0, Codemasters’ rally racing sequel; LEGO Worlds; and Bad North, a minimalist strategy game. Stay tuned for more details on their release dates. Xbox Game Pass is available for $4.99 per month.
