With all eyes currently focused on Call of Duty Black Ops 3 it’s important that we don’t forget about the games that are already in place, specifically the latest entry into the series, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. The new April patch for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is yet to receive official patch notes, but we do know that it has brought a number of balance and weapon tweaks to the game.
Reddit users have run a series of tests themselves and found that some of the games weapons remain largely unchanged whereas others, such as S12 variants, “shoot even faster than the base 600RPM”. The AMR9 Dynamo still appears to have a “glitched” burst delay.
The magazine capacity for the ASM1 has dropped down to a base of 35 rounds, 52 rounds with Extended Mags, the starting ammunition for this weapon has also been lowered to match the change in capacity.
The Pytaek heavy weapon “has been fixed,” with the base damage profile being similar to the Ameli LMG. The EPM3 has also apparently been buffed again, with all the variants allegedly sharing the same headshot multiplier found in the Exterminator.
This new patch is about 2.6 GB in size for the PS4 and 1.1 GB for the Xbox One.
