Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Box Art Changed A Little for PS3 and Xbox 360

Nobody will be misled.

When Activision and Treyarch announced that the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 would be severely hamstrung thanks to them having no campaign (they are only shipping with the Zombies and multiplayer modes), there was quite a bit of furore and uproar from those who have still not moved on from the previous generation of consoles. That said, at least Activision is making sure no one will be mistakenly led into purchasing the version and thinking it will be something that it is not.

You see, we finally got to see the official box art for Black Ops 3 on the PS3 and Xbox 360, and commendably enough, Activision have noted, in pretty prominent wording, that the game is just the multplayer mode only, and will require an internet connection to play, on the very front; where other publishers may have made this fine print, possibly at the back of the case, Activsion at least seem to be taking the initiative to warn their customer base.

I’m still not happy that the Xbox 360 and PS3 ports of the game even exist, but with that said, it is good to see Activision actually acting in the customers’ interests for once.
