Next in the list of cybernetic enhancements you can use in Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 are the Cybercore Control abilities. These abilities concern themselves with taking control of robotics and just using your enemies’ robotic allies against him.
For instance, there’s an ability that allows you reprogram a robot to have it fight for you, even if its health is a little. Another ability lets you take control of drones and fire upon your foes. Surge is an electrical attack of sorts that short-circuit a robot and his surrounding allies or crash drones into enemies if they’re close enough. Then there’s Ravage, which lets you rip out an enemy’s electrical core and throw it at your enemies like an explosive.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3′ cybernetic abilities become more Deus Ex-esque with each passing week and it’s a shame that previous gen console owners won’t have any opportunity to use them due to the lack of a single-player campaign. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is out on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC on November 6th.
