Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Offering Double XP This Weekend

In case you needed incentive to boot it up again.

Activision and Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be offering double XP to all players in multiplayer modes this weekend, starting Friday, 10am PT, and going through to 10am PT on Monday. All multiplayer modes, as well as Zombies, will be covered by the Double XP promotion.

The Double XP weekend also comes right ahead of the launch of the first DLC map pack for Black Ops 3Awakening, which launches next week, on February 2 exclusively on the PlayStation 4. Awakening will add new maps to the game’s multiplayer modes, as well as to Zombies. It will launch on Xbox One and PC 30 days later, on March 3.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Versions of the game are also available for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, though those do not come with the single player campaign, or with any support for DLC. The PlayStation 4 version of Black Ops 3 will get all DLC 30 days before either the Xbox One or the PC versions do.
