Treyarch’s first private beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 took place this weekend exclusively for PlayStation 4 players (or those who pre-ordered at least). On August 10th at 10 AM PT/7 AM ET, the beta will be available to those who pre-ordered on Xbox One and PC. On August 11th, however, the beta will be open to all users.
To prepare for the PC beta, which will take place on Battle.net, Treyarch has released its minimum and recommended system requirements. It’s worth noting that these requirements are for the beta only. The final release could see some changes. Also, due to the Battle.net requirement, you will need an account for the same.
Along with six modes – Team Deathmatch, Control, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, Domination, and Search and Destroy – there will be six maps available to play. The Battle Royale mode Blackout won’t be available but don’t delete that beta client. It will update to the Blackout beta when the latter goes live in September.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out on October 12th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
