A new PlayStation 5 bundle is available to pre-order via PlayStation Direct, and it features Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It costs $560 and includes the game’s Cross-Gen Bundle, providing access to the PS4 and PS5 versions.
The bundle will launch on October 28th, just in time for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. No PS5 Digital Edition bundle is available, sadly. It’s only the disc-based version which benefits from the same. While hardware bundles may not seem like a big deal, they’ve helped significantly with revenue for titles like Horizon Forbidden West.
After a strong launch, Guerrilla Games’ open-world epic was languishing in the UK physical sales charts due to the lack of PS5 supplies. However, following its bundle’s release, it proceeded to top the charts multiple times over the past few months. Sony may be aiming for similar revenue when the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 bundle releases. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
