Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 Launch Trailer Shows off DMZ and Battle Royale Action

The upcoming battle royale shooter is due out on November 16, and brings with it a new map, new gameplay mechanics, and more.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will be launching soon, bringing the evolution of the series’ free-to-play battle royale formula, and ahead of its imminent release, Activision has released a launch trailer for it.

With aquatic combat, a great emphasis on vehicular action, revamps made to the Gulag, a host of gameplay tweaks and improvements, a new extraction-based mode in DMZ, and much more, Warzone 2.0 is looking like a meaty upgrade. Get a glimpse of what it’ll have on offer in the trailer below.

Warzone 2.0’s launch will coincide with the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0’s Season 1, while will implement a new Battle Pass system. Additionally, new Operators, revamped Prestige system, and more will also arrive.

Upon Warzone 2.0’s launch, the original Warzone will be temporarily taken offline. It will relaunch on November 28 as Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera

Warzone 2.0 is set to launch on November 16 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Meanwhile, Modern Warfare 2 has been enjoying impressive sales since its launch (to say the very least), posting strong numbers in the US, the UK, and Europe, and having crossed $1 billion in revenue in just 10 days.
