Call of Duty: Warzone Releases New Texture Pack for PS5 and Xbox Series X

A new texture pack for Call of Duty: Warzone aims to improve visuals for resolutions of 1440p and above for the newer consoles.

Following the recent launch of Season 4, the incredibly popular battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone and the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War have just received new texture pack update on consoles. Clocking in at around 7 GB, the update is available right now on Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S (via VGC).

The texture pack is aimed at improving textures at a resolution of 1440p. This explains the absence of the update on the base Xbox One and PS4. This is the 5th texture pack that Call of Duty: Warzone has dropped since its release, the last of which focused on improvements to gun and character models.

Players on either of the supported consoles are advised to update the game to see noticeable improvements to the visuals. Call of Duty: Warzone already runs at 120 fps on next-gen machines, but developer Raven Software has promised that native next-gen versions of the game will also be arriving soon.
