Toys for Bob’s Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is shaping up to be a strong sequel to the original trilogy. If you remain unconvinced though, a range of new previews have become available, showcasing gameplay from stages like “Snow Way Out” and “Dino Dash”, courtesy of GameSpot and IGN. It’s not the final build, but still looks pretty good.
You’ll see the Quantum Masks in action, along with Dr. Neo Cortex being playable. The latter’s approach to levels is more methodical than Crash and Coco, but looks fun all the same. For even more gameplay, check out a previously-revealed pirate-themed level here.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time releases on October 2nd for Xbox One and PS4. It will reportedly have over 100 levels, which is more than the entire Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy combined. Reports initially emerged of in-app purchases, but the developer has since clarified that there are no microtransactions. Stay tuned for more details en route to launch.
