Months of teases later, Kojima Productions has finally unveiled its next game – Death Stranding 2. Launching for PS5, it received a new trailer with in-game cinematics, showcasing Lea Seydoux, Norman Reedus, and what seems to be Troy Baker’s Higgs.
The trailer sees Seydoux attempting to escape for a baby and dying after a heated exchange with enemies. However, it seemingly fast-forwards to the future, where an older Sam Bridges emerges alongside Fragile, who has a ship called Drawbridge. She also has a crew, which could be Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna.
It’s not a big secret that Death Stranding 2 is in development – Reedus confirmed it himself on several occasions. As for when it could release, stay tuned for more details. Kojima also confirmed smaller game in development, which may be Overdose, but it may be a while before we learn more. Stay tuned for more news from The Game Awards 2022 in the meantime.
