Death Stranding 2

Months of teases later, Kojima Productions has finally unveiled its next game – Death Stranding 2. Launching for PS5, it received a new trailer with in-game cinematics, showcasing Lea Seydoux, Norman Reedus, and what seems to be Troy Baker’s Higgs.

The trailer sees Seydoux attempting to escape for a baby and dying after a heated exchange with enemies. However, it seemingly fast-forwards to the future, where an older Sam Bridges emerges alongside Fragile, who has a ship called Drawbridge. She also has a crew, which could be Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna.

It’s not a big secret that Death Stranding 2 is in development – Reedus confirmed it himself on several occasions. As for when it could release, stay tuned for more details. Kojima also confirmed a smaller game in development, which may be Overdose, but it may be a while before we learn more. Stay tuned for more news from The Game Awards 2022 in the meantime.
