Death Stranding Japanese Cast Revealed, Voices of Snake And The Boss Confirmed

It's not over yet.

It was confirmed by Kojima Productions not too long ago that Hideo Kojima would be bringing Death Stranding to TGS 2018 at the end of the month for stage presentation (even though it won’t be playable), where the game’s Japanese voice cast would also be present. Hideo Kojima has now confirmed the involvement of four marquee people in the game’s Japanese dub via his Twitter.

Most notably, it includes Akio Otsuka, who has voiced Solid Snake and Big Boss in the Metal Gear games in the past. Also included is Kikuko Inoue, who’s best known for providing the Japanese voice of The Boss in Metal Gear Solid 3, but also for lending her voice to Chico in Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes, as well as Sunny in Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Rising.

Nana Mizuki, who gave the Japanese voice for Paz in Metal Gear Solid: Peace WalkerGround Zeroes, and The Phantom Pain, is also part of Death Stranding’s Japanese voice cast. There’s also Kenjiro Tsuda, who hasn’t worked on any Metal Gear game in the past but is best known for his roles in Yu-Gi-Oh! and Attack on Titan.

It’s interesting to see Kojima working with people from the Metal Gear franchise so closely once again, and I’m curious to see what roles they’ll be playing in Death Stranding exactly. We do know that Kojima has something special planned for the game at TGS 2018, so perhaps we’ll find out more then.

Tokyo Game Show goes on from September 20 till September 23, so stay tuned to GamingBolt for all the latest updates.
