Death Stranding: Hideo Kojima Is “Planning Something Fun” For TGS 2018 Stage Presentation

It better be a release date, Kojima-san.

Although we weren’t sure at first whether Death Stranding would have a presence at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, it was revealed some time that Hideo Kojima and the Japanese voice over cast would be making a stage presentation at the event. In a new tweet, Kojima stated that he would be putting up this show with the Japanese voice cast so as to thank his fans.

It has been two years since Kojima last attended the show, and it makes sense that he wants to use this platform to thank his fans. On the other hand, it is a little disappointing that Death Stranding will not be playable at the event. Still, it’s worth getting excited for whatever Kojima and the Japanese voice cast have planned. At this point, all we know is that they are “planning something fun,” so we’ll probably just have to wait to see what this is.

The Tokyo Game Show starts on September 20 and goes on until September 23.
