Destiny 2: Into the Light is close and adds a new Horde Mode called Onslaught, BRAVE weapons based on popular guns through the years and new armor. However, there’s more to come, with Bungie announcing its third livestream for April 2nd at 10 AM PT.
It will discuss the return of two “classic” Exotic missions and preview one of the new Crucible maps launching in May. A new PvE challenge called Pantheon will also be revealed, so there’s plenty to look forward to.
The Exotic missions are likely Zero Hour and The Whisper, the former set in the old Tower with players able to earn the Outbreak Perfected Exotic Pulse Rifle. The latter is the mission that started the trend and awards Whisper of the Worm, an Exotic version of the Black Spindle Sniper Rifle from Destiny 1. If it follows the trend of Presage, then both weapons will be craftable.
Stay tuned for more details later this week. Destiny 2: Into the Light goes live on April 9th for all players on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.
