Destiny 2 Into the Light

Bungie has announced that Destiny 2: Into the Light will begin on April 9th with Update 7.3.6. Alongside new content for all players leading up to the launch of The Final Shape, it will provide quality-of-life updates and sandbox tuning.

While the extent of the content is unknown, Bungie is going all out to promote it, with three upcoming livestreams, the first on March 19th at 10 AM PT. The second is on March 26th, while the third is on April 2nd. There will be “tons” of details from the developers and a hands-on preview, with different parts of the update outlined.

Based on the promotional art shared, the Pyramid Ships of the Black Fleet invade The Last City as the Guardians mount a defense. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks. In the meantime, a Ghostbusters collaboration starts on March 19th. Destiny 2: The Final Shape also launches on June 4th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC after facing a delay.
