Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Will Receive Extensive Details Before Launch

Bungie is also teasing something referred to as "[REDACTED]".

Bungie’s latest weekly update comes after successful GuardianCon and while it didn’t offer too much information on Destiny 2, there were some teases about what’s coming. The studio’s next expansion is Shadowkeep and the development team is working hard. Community manager Dmg04 noted that there would be some “deep-dive” posts between now and release to offer a “clever view on the changes coming.”

Interestingly, some of the stuff being worked on ranged from “Cross Save” to something called “[REDACTED]”. Your guess is as good as ours as to what this could be. The removal of Enhancement Cores from Infusion perhaps? One can always hope. In the meantime, expect more details on the upcoming Solstice of Heroes event.

The latest update for Destiny 2 added Moments of Triumph to the game, allowing players to complete different challenges for unique rewards like Sparrow, emblem, etc. It also added a classic Destiny 1 Exotic, Bad Juju, to earn with enough completed Triumphs. Another update will be coming this month to nerf Lord of Wolves so stay tuned.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is out on September 17th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
