Even in the form that Diablo 4 launched, it’s a monstrous experience, with enough content to have kept players busy for quite a while. Though of course, with Blizzard’s plans to build the action RPG as an ongoing, ever-changing experience, a steady stream of new and upcoming content is very much on the docket as well.
That stream is set to kick off with Diablo 4’s first season of post-launch content this month, and Blizzard Entertainment will soon be unveiling what that will entail. Blizzard has confirmed that in a new Developed Update Livestream this Thursday, on July 6, at 11 AM PT, associate game director Joseph Piepiora and lead game producer Timothy Ismay will unveil Diablo 4 Season 1, and talk about some of the quality-of-life updates that will be coming alongside it.
Alongside that, the developer will also unveil a new class coming to free-to-play mobile action RPG Diablo Immortal.
Blizzard has previously confirmed that to access Diablo 4’s seasonal post-launch content and Battle Passes, players will have to create new characters, rather than being able to carry over progress from existing ones. The action RPG’s seasons also won’t advance its main story– that will come in the form of full-fledged expansions, of which two are currently in the works.
Diablo 4 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can read our review of the game through here.
