Diablo 4 is now available worldwide, and it’s brought with it a bevy of content right off the gate for the masses to dive into. As is often the case with games of this variety though, the demand for more content not long from now will be guaranteed, and based on what Blizzard Entertainment has said, there’s plenty of that in the pipeline.

While the bulk of that will come through Diablo 4’s quarterly seasonal updates, those who’re looking for more substantial releases that will advance the main story will want to keep an eye on full-fledged expansions- a couple of which are already in the works.

That’s according to Diablo GM Rod Fergusson, who confirmed in a recent interview with Kinda Funny Games in the build-up to the action RPG’s launch that in addition to Diablo 4’s first two seasons, Blizzard is currently also already working on the first two expansions.

“As I sit here, we’re about to launch the main game, we’re finishing up season one, we’re working on season two, we’re working on expansion one, we’re kicking off expansion two — all that’s happening right now, and we haven’t even launched the game,” he said (transcription via Windows Central).

Of course, given the fact that the game itself has only just launched, it’s probably going to be a while before we start getting concrete details on what to expect from its expansions, but with two of them already in development, there’s a good chance that the wait might not be too significant.

Diablo 4 is available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, and PC.
