Larian Studios’ Divinity: Original Sin 2 is currently available for PC, but on August 31st, the Definitive Edition will release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Though the first act has been available on Xbox Game Preview for some time, PS4 players finally get access to the same. Pre-order the PS4 version today and you can enjoy the first act on August 14th. According to the PlayStation Store listing, that’s more than 20 hours of gameplay to enjoy several weeks before the official launch.
Much like its predecessor, Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition will include split-screen co-op for up to four players. The game has already been lauded for its deep combat, excellent writing and characterization, and a huge world to explore with impactful decisions. With the Definitive Edition, Larian will be revamping number of features, including the third Act, Origin character Beast, different encounters, and much more.
The best part is that PC players who already own Divinity: Original Sin 2 will receive the Definitive Edition for free (along with the Sir Lora DLC). What are your thoughts on the “earlybird” offer for PS4 players though? Let us know in the comments.
