There’s been no shortage of formidable, insane demons to hunt and kill in the history of DOOM over the years, and with each new instalment in the series, id Software has only continued to add even more of those to an already long list. Clearly, they won’t be stopping with the upcoming and highly anticipated DOOM Eternal, either.
At the recent QuakeCon 2019 DOOM Eternal showing, id Software revealed a great many new things about the upcoming shooter, and one of the the those things was a new demon. Called Doom Hunter, it is half a demon, half a machine, and completely bonkers. It exists for the sole purpose of hunting down and killing the Doom Slayer, and with its insane weaponry, mechanical parts, terrifying horns, and its all-around physically imposing size and and look, it definitely looks the part. Take a look in the video below- it’s timestamped, so just hit play.
Among other things, details on the game’s unconventional multiplayer component – the Battle Mode – were also revealed. We won’t be playing as the Doom Hunter in the mode, but it still looks really interesting. Get all the details through here.
DOOM Eternal is out on November 22 for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Stadia, and Nintendo Switch.
