Dragon Age: Inquisition is “About 80 Hours Long, By No Means Completionist”

Writer Patrick Weekes says it can be finished sooner but there's still plenty of content to experience.

Bioware’s Dragon Age: Inquisition has been hyped in the past few months for its immense scale and open world. The overall range of features is impressive with the largest cast of companions in the series’ history, your own personal Keep to customize, different ways to play and the largest world Bioware has ever created. How long is your average play-through though?

Roughly 80 hours it seems. “And that’s one playthrough done, start to finish, full game, no cheats. About 80 hours and by NO MEANS completionist,” according to studio writer Patrick Weekes on Twitter.

Weekes added, “Will note: people who prefer shorter games could do less than I did. NOT 80 hrs minimum. Still, LOT of game to play if you want.”

We’re pretty sure this doesn’t even include the multiplayer which allows you to play with 9 different characters across randomized maps that will receive their own (free) DLC in the coming months. Dragon Age: Inquisition releases on November 18th in North America and November 21st in Europe for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC.
