Dragon Age: Inquisition New Details On Class Abilities, Talents And More

The Free Marches cities won't be returning and Nevarra won't be appearing sadly.

Bioware’s Dragon Age: Inquisition has received some new details via creative director Mike Laidlaw on Twitter. Laidlaw first stated that those who played with a mouse and keyboard on PC rather than a controller will have a different interface. Furthermore he also stated that, “Certain abilities like lockpick are still class restricted. Take a rogue, or come back with one.

As for that roll move that some warriors can learn, it will be slightly different for mages. “It’s sort of a speedy ‘blink’ move. Doesn’t let you teleport, just move quickly.” Talents will also still require talent points to purchase rather than money. Laidlaw also clarified that you won’t be visiting any of the Free Marches cities as previously thought. “Nope. Only themes were carried forward, not locations.”

Sadly, Nevarra won’t be a featured environment in the final game. “Nevarra’s not a playable space in #DAI. It’s referenced heavily, but you won’t go there directly.”

Dragon Age: Inquisition is out in Autumn this year for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
