Dragon Age: Inquisition Officially Enters Alpha Stage

Bioware will now begin officially testing for bugs and errors in the RPG.

After reporting that Dragon Age: Inquisition would be entering the “content complete” stage – wherein all content in the game has been locked down and testing for bugs can begin – Bioware executive producer Mark Darrah has confirmed that the open world RPG has entered into Alpha stage.

Darrah indicated as much on Twitter. “We have declared Alpha! A major milestone for Dragon Age! Next up, E3.” So to those attending E3, look forward to being able to play Inquisition on the show floor. As it stands, the game is still several months away from release and as bug testing progresses, we’ll get a better glimpse at the game’s mechanics and missions.

Dragon Age: Inquisition releases on October 7th for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. It will see players take on the role of the High Inquisitor as he (or she) assembles an alliance to combat the forces of evil. Stay tuned for more details as E3 nears.
