EA and BioWare have finally lifted the lid on Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and to go alongside its recent gameplay showing, previews and impressions of the action RPG have also been published by major outlets- which, of course, have brought yet more details. IGN’s preview, for instance, has revealed brief information about the game’s graphics options.
As per IGN, though one source informed them that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will target 60 FPS, an Electronic Arts spokesperson has instead said that the game will feature both performance and fidelity modes for players to choose between. Specific details on those modes, however, will be arriving later.
“Dragon Age: The Veilguard will feature performance and quality modes on consoles to ensure players can choose the visual fidelity they prefer. We’ll have more to share on exact performance as we finish development in the coming months,” the EA spokesperson said.
It’s also been confirmed that unlike its semi-open world predecessor, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is going to be mission-based game. More details have also been revealed on its combat, companions, hub location, character romances, and more.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC this Fall.
