Months after announcing that it would come to Nintendo Switch, Natsume Atari’s Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising has received 28 minutes of gameplay courtesy of IGN. 505 Games brand community manager Steven Takowsky is playing, and showcasing the various different features. Check it out below.
The side-scrolling action RPG focuses on three characters – JB, Isha and Garoo – will become the player’s companions in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Starting out in town, which has several facilities like an Inn that provides temporary stat boosts, the trio ventures out to the Runebarrows for a quest. Only one character is controlled at a time but the others can be switched to and tagged in for Link Attacks.
A release date hasn’t been announced but it’s apparently coming “soon.” Stay tuned for more details and updates in the meantime, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is in development for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4 and PC along with the aforementioned Switch. As for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, it’s scheduled to launch in 2023.
