CD Projekt RED have decided to discount their flagship franchise, The Witcher, on their GoG store. All three games are available for discounted prices on the storefront- and since they are being sold through GoG, they will also all be DRM free.
You can get The Witcher for $1.49, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for $3, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for $42, and something called The Witcher Adventure Game that I did not even know existed until right about now for $4. Put together, these games cost about $50- less than the price of one new game. Plus, $42 for what is still the best game released this year is really not asking a whole lot.
You can also get The Witcher 3 for $42 on Xbox Live this week; the PC promotion will, meanwhile, last through September 10. For more on The Witcher, check out our reviews for the second and third games. And stay tuned for more coverage.
