Fallout 76 Patch Will Raise Disease Resistance, Lower Fast Travel Cost for New Players

The patch has been delayed to mid-July in order to fit all these changes.

Warframe isn’t the only game looking to improve the new player experience. Bethesda’s Fallout 76 will receive a new patch later this month which will make the game more friendly to lower level players. To start with, characters below level 15 will have higher disease resistance while those below Level 25 have a lower cost for fast travel.

Players who take up challenges at lower levels will also receive better rewards. If that weren’t enough, areas like Ash Heap, Savage Divide and Toxic Valley will be less difficult in terms of enemies. If that wasn’t enough, Power Armor users at lower levels will be able to use Stealth Boys for additional survivability.

Head over to the Bethesda blog for full details on all the changes coming. It all sounds pretty good, though one has to wonder if smurfs – lower level characters created by veteran players – won’t abuse the system for different benefits. We’ll see how it plays when the patch is finally live so stay tuned.
